What's happening....

you may ask...probably not but maybe!!

I have been working on my first DT tasks at Scrapping Around.
Chipboard alpha techniques have been my first task - just up my alley!! I have posted my first ideas thread - complete with photos which was new to me!


This is my DT layout - I had to use a TLC Beach kit and I added the challenge of not actually having any beach photos! I will get a couple more LOs out of the kit so you have to be happy with that.

Had a massive bit of retail therapy on the weekend - we hit IKEA and started the grand re-furnituring of our house! This aims to find storage space where there is none so here's hoping! For the Sydney siders - we did leave a FEW things in the store so don't feel you can't go shopping if you need something too!!LOL

Surgery day tomorrow - pins out at last. So hopefully the walking will begin soon....

So I was all excited - SC #36 was out and I was about to be a published scrapper - my number one scrap goal!

I open the mag - and they didn't use my layout. Blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

So to all the people I got excited with and told my exciting news..don't go searching cos it ain't there.

That being said..DO go searching 'coz the lovely Kylie's layout IS there and it is awesome!

I've been a bit of a misery lately...sorry 'bout that. So I'll post one of my absolute fave layouts to cheer me up..how cute is this kid.

Yay public hospitals - surgery bumped to 28th November.

Christmas at home looking more and more unlikely......

Hmmmmmmm

Howdy all.....

Not much happening here..still sitting around with a broken leg!! I had a checkup last week when they were going to schedule my surgery - good bye pins and hello walking again!! It all looked set for the 7th which finally gave me a beginning of the end - till the hospital rang and put it back to the 14th so here I sit still waiting. We used to joke about whether I'd be up and about by Christmas - but we're not joking any more!!!

I have been getting a bit of scrapping done which is the upside I guess! I think it's time to start submitting again - I have kind of forgotten about it since getting a LO picked up - but as it comes out this week I should probably have another go soon!!!LOL

This was a LO I did for my Friday challenge at Scrapping Around - we have daily challenges set by the DT happening at the moment so if you are stuck for an idea it is worth a visit any day of the week! This one was an ad inspiration challenge (thanks to Beth for the challenge inspiration - I always look at ads a little differently now!!!)
